Sažetak: Tokom ljeta 2016. godine obavljena su istraživanja glacijalnih jezera Gornje i Donje Bare na planini Zelengori u cilju utvrđivanja kvaliteta jezerske vode i utvrđivanja karakterističnih procesa u jezerskim bazenima. Sem morfometrijskih mjerenja, izvršeno je mjerenje temperature vode jezerskih bazena na različitim dubinama. Uzeti su uzorci vode kako bi se utvrdili fizičko-hemijski, mikrobiološki i saprobiološki parametri. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali izražene procese eutrofizacije jezera Gornje Bare. Intenzivna primarna produkcija u površinskom sloju ovog jezera ogleda se u izraženoj hipersaturaciji kao rezultat
fotosintetske aktivnosti fitoplanktona i makrofita. Na dnu jezera izražena je hiposaturacija usljed mikrobiološke razgradnje organske materije. Takođe, istraživanje je obuhvatilo parametre kiseoničnog režima i pH vrijednost: Na osnovu njih voda jezera Gornje Bare svrstana je u III klasu i direktna je posljedica intenzivnog razvoja fitoplanktona u periodu uzorkovanja. Sastav fitoplanktonske zajednice ukazuje na β-mezosaprobnu vodu. Vrijednosti fizičko-hemijskih parametara jezerske vode su u okviru I, a sanitarno-mikrobioloških u okviru II klase. Jezero Donje Bare ima oligosaprobnu vodu odličnog kvaliteta. Sem nešto povišenih vrijednosti koncentracije suspendovanih materija, zasićenost vode kiseonikom, brojnost aerobnih heterotrofnih i ukupnih koliformnih bakterija odgovara II klasi površinskih voda. Vrijednosti ostalih praćenih parametara bile su u okviru I klase. Izvor kojim se jezero napaja vodom, prema fizičko-hemijskim i sanitarno-mikrobiološkim parametrima, odgovara I klasi, dok otoka ima nešto povišenu koncentraciju suspendovanih materija. Brojnost bakterija odgovara II klasi površinskih voda. Intenzivan razvoj fitoplanktona i makrofita dovodi do nagomilavanja organske materije na dnu i ubrzava proces starenja jezera.

GORNJE BARE AND DONJE BARE LAKES − SOME ELEMENTS
OF SUSTAINABILITY AND LAKE WATER QUALITY

Abstract: During the summer of 2016, a research was carried out at the glacial lakes of Gornje Bare and Donje Bare at the Zelengora Mountain in order to determine the lake water quality and to find out typical processes in the lakes. Apart from morphometric measurements, the lake water temperature at different depths was measured. The water sampling was conducted to determine physical-chemical, microbiological and saprobiological parameters. The research results discovered distinctive eutrophication processes in the Gornje Bare Lake. The intense primary production in the lake surface layer is reflected in a pronounced hypersaturation as a result of phytoplankton and macrophytes photosynthetic activities. At the bottom of the lake, hyposaturation is evident due to microbiological decomposition of organic matter. In addition, the survey included the parameters of the oxygen regime and the pH value: based on these parameters, the water of Gornje Bare Lake was classified in Class III, which was a direct consequence of the intensive phytoplankton development during the sampling periods. The composition of the phytoplankton community indicated β-mesosaprobic water. The values of the physical-chemical parameters of the lake water were within the scope of Class I, whereas the values of the sanitary-microbiological parameters were within Class II. Donje Bare Lake has oligosaprobic water of an excellent quality. Except slightly elevated concentrations of suspended matter and water saturation with oxygen, the number of aerobic heterotrophic and total coliform bacteria corresponds to Class II of surface water quality. Values of other monitored parameters were within Class I. According to physicalchemical and sanitary-microbiological parameters, the water source which feeds the lake water corresponds to Class I, whereas the distributary which drains water from the lake has a somewhat elevated concentration of suspended matter.
The number of bacteria corresponds to Class II of surface water quality. The intense development of phytoplankton and macrophytes leads to the accumulation of organic matter at the lake bottom and accelerates the aging of the lake.
